Shriekback's other most recent two albums are Cormorant (released 7th November 2005, repackaged with bonus tracks in June 2008) and Glory Bumps (released May 2007). Both of these are available from Malicious Damage Records.
9 de jul. de 2007 · I certainly scavenged the sessions for loops to use on Glory Bumps and the character of the earlier project does add some new quality to the brew. In terms of the approach, I’ve always worked from improvs anyway so it was business-as-usual really when it came to the Shriekback record.

"Glory Bumps" are the gooseflesh said to occur at the time of "Rapture"; an event in the christian mythos, at the end of the world, when the true believers will be taken bodily into the afterlife. Typical Shriekback; this is a harsh jab at religion, in this particular case evangelical types who cry "Apocalypse" and make a profit off of it.
