Sir Giles Gilbert Scott OM RA FRIBA (9 November 1880 – 8 February 1960) was a British architect known for his work on the New Bodleian Library, Cambridge University Library, Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, Battersea Power Station, Liverpool Cathedral, and designing the iconic red telephone box.

The only decision George took concerning his son’s future was to send him to Beaumont – a Jesuit school in Windsor – as he approved of J.F. Bentley’s design of the school buildings.
Giles Gilbert Scott was an English architect who designed numerous religious buildings in the Gothic style, such as Liverpool's Anglican and Roman Catholic cathedrals, Cambridge University Library, and Battersea Power Station. He was the son of George Gilbert Scott and the grandson of George Gilbert Scott. He was knighted in 1924 and president of the Royal Institute of British Architects in 1933-35.
