Gerald Scarfe. Art Department: Pink Floyd: The Wall. Gerald Anthony Scarfe, CBE (born 1 June 1936 in St John's Wood, London) is an English cartoonist and illustrator. He is best known for his work with Pink Floyd, particularly on their 1979 album 'The Wall', its 1982 film adaption, Pink Floyd: The Wall (1982) (1982), and tour (1980-81), as well as the music video for "Welcome to the Machine".
