Geoff Chunn is a New Zealand musician, best known as an early member of Split Enz. Chunn was a teenage friend of Tim Finn. Together the two of them and Chunn's elder brother, Mike Chunn, founded the band Stillwater while at high school in the late 1960s. When Stillwater split up in 1971, Chunn joined acoustic group Rosewood.
Geoff Chunn is a New Zealand singer-songwriter, guitarist, and drummer. Geoff joined Split Enz as drummer in 1973, staying with the band until June 1974. Following his departure from Split Enz, he briefly drummed for Dragon (5) in 1974, before forming Citizen Band in 1977 with his brother Mike Chunn .

Later in 1974, Rob Gillies and Geoff Chunn left the band, with the latter being replaced by Emlyn Crowther, while Noel Crombie also joined as percussionist and the band's visual director. In the early years of Split Enz, they were known as an "adventurous, flamboyant art-rock band" with unique, theatrical live shows.
