Gautam Gambhir (born 14 October 1981) is an Indian former international cricketer, politician and philanthropist. He played for India in all formats of the game between 2003 and 2016. He is a current member of the Lok Sabha since 2019.
Gautam Gambhir was a left-handed opener who played for India in all three formats and led Kolkata Knight Riders to two IPL titles. He scored over 10,000 runs in international cricket, including a match-winning 97 in the 2011 World Cup final, and received the Padma Shri and became a member of Parliament.
