J G Thirlwell the man what is Foetus is unparalleled. Be it Scraping Foetus Off The Wheel, Wiseblood, Steroid Maximus, or his production and remix work for other artists. And Gash is one of his finest. In two hundred years from now someone will recognise what the rest of you have missed.
J. G. Thirlwell's major label debut defies the usual logic that he must musically compromise his sound. Indeed, the only real concession Thirlwell seems to make that there is a slightly greater ratio of abrasive noise-rockers, but the key word here is abrasive.
In some circles, the name J.G. Thirlwell is synonymous with badass. And who can blame these people? Since 1981 J.G. has always played by his own rules, his primary act Foetus a chaotic machine lumbering along with a distinctly misanthropic, tongue-in-cheek sense of humor.
