There are a lot of commentators I love, like Chris Cuthbert, Jim Hughson, Gord Miller, Ken Daniels, Joe Bowen, Gary Thorne, plenty others, but man nothing takes me into a game as much as Bob Cole Maybe just the Hockey Night in Canada nostalgia, I'm sure most fans consider the one they grew up hearing the most to basically be associated with hockey, but his voice just felt like hockey.

Now it's a bunch of high pitched analysts who are squeamish about dirty hockey. Notice how Mark Messier carries himself on studio compared to PK. Mark was all business. One of the best leaders in all of sports. He was a man leading men.
