Gary Owens (born Gary Bernard Altman; May 10, 1934 – February 12, 2015) was an American disc jockey, voice actor, announcer and radio personality. His polished baritone speaking voice generally offered deadpan recitations of total nonsense, which he frequently demonstrated as the announcer on Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In.
Gary Owens (1934-2015) was known for being the original voice of Space Ghost, Powdered Toast Man and Blue Falcon. He also hosted a radio show for 20 years and appeared in over 12,000 radio shows and 3,000 cartoon shows.

13 de feb. de 2015 · The radio, TV and voiceover performer Gary Owens, who was known for his hand-over-the-ear announcing style on NBC's "Laugh-In" and his roles as Space Ghost and other characters, passed away on Feb. 12 at his home in Los Angeles. He was 80 and had been a diabetic since childhood. He also hosted a national radio show, wrote for Jay Ward and collaborated with Jonathan Winters.
