"Live: Rockin' In The Free World", a two-CD set, was recorded at the Uptown Theater in Kansas City on October 21, 2003, and contains nearly two hours of heavy instrumental guitar work from the show. Closing the show are three mega jams where all three guitarists lay out their most frightening improvisations.

G3 – Rockin’ In The Free World, the double CD/DVD starring Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and the virtuoso Yngwie Malmsteen, was released in 2004. The gig was recorded in Denver right in the middle of a very condensed tour of 31 gigs from mid-October to mid-November.
