Funkdoobiest was an American hip hop group from Los Angeles, California, United States, composed of rappers Jason "Son Doobie" Vasquez, Tyrone "Tomahawk Funk" Pacheco and DJ Ralph "Tha Phunky Mexican" Medrano. [1] They are members of the Soul Assassins collective. The group has released four studio albums.
Funkdoobiest es un grupo latino de hip hop de Los Ángeles. Los miembros son el puertorriqueño Son Doobie (Jason Vasquez), el chicano DJ Ralph M (Ralph Medrano) y Tomahawk Funk (Tyrone Pacheco). Este último abandonó tras el segundo álbum. Sus primeros dos álbumes fueron mayormente producidos por DJ Muggs, del grupo Cypress Hill.

Latin Hip Hop group from Los Angeles, California, USA. Formed in 1989, first as Ralph M and Son when Ralph M hooked up with DJ Muggs, Sen Dog, B-Real , Son Doobie & T-Funk. The name Funkdoobiest came later in 1991 from a song B-Real from Cypress Hill had written called "The Funkdoobiest".
