Leon Redbone's "From Branch To Branch" is one of my personal favorite releases from the king of southern dixie crooning. My ears were delighted with 11 deliciously mellow tracks that are as sweet as sugar and as cool as a summer glass of lemonade. Track 1: (Mama's Got A Baby Named) Te Na Na. Leon Redbone (born Dickran Gobalian, August 26, 1949 – May 30, 2019) was a Canadian/ American singer-songwriter and musician specializing in jazz, blues, and Tin Pan Alley classics. Recognized by his hat (often a Panama hat), dark sunglasses, and black tie, Redbone was born in Cyprus of Armenian ancestry and first appeared on stage in Toronto, Canada, in the early 1970s.
