Frederick Loewe (nacido Friedrich (Fritz) Löwe, pronunciación en alemán: /ˈløːvə/) (Berlín; 10 de junio de 1901-Palm Springs, California; 14 de febrero de 1988) fue un compositor estadounidense de origen alemán.
Loewe was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1972. Seven years later, in 1979, he was inducted into the American Theater Hall of Fame. Loewe remained in Palm Springs until his death at 86. The cause of death was cardiac arrest, according to John F. Morris, an artist and longtime friend.
