In Fred Zinnemann’s 1973 thriller, “Day Of The Jackal”, British actor Cyril Cusak, as the Italian Mr Gozzi, blends competence and a client focus that is very convincing. I personally like the second one, which was filmed originally with the protagonist killing the gunsmith in cold blood, but that killing scene was deleted in the released version.
