Franke Jon Previte (born May 2, 1946) is an American singer, songwriter, and Academy Award-winning composer. He was the lead singer of the 1980s AOR rock band Franke and the Knockouts.
Franke Previte was born in New Brunswick, N.J. His father was an opera singer and was Franke's first musical inspiration. Franke’s first album was released in 1971 with a metal band call Bull Angus on Mercury Records.
