Fragile, released on 7 July 2014, is the sixth solo album by former Ultravox frontman Midge Ure. [1] Background. Ure produced and recorded the album at his home. It was his first solo album with original material since Move Me (2000). All tracks are written by Ure, except "Let It Rise" which was co-written with the German artist/composer Schiller.

22 de oct. de 2014 · Immersed in recent times by Ultravox’s 2012 album Brilliant and by touring, this is Ure’s first solo record of new material since 2001’s Move Me. Unencumbered by his past but happy to embrace his longtime influences, he’s managed to create something wholly worthwhile from the sum of his parts.
Ure worked for over a decade on the next solo studio album, Fragile, which was released on 7 July 2014. The making of Fragile coincided with Ultravox's 2012 reunion album Brilliant. Reuniting with Ultravox inspired him to focus on music again, and ultimately finish the material that would become Fragile.
