13 de may. de 2015 · The roots of Fotheringay stretch into Fairport history, arguably to the hinge point of the tragic motorway crash that took the life of drummer Martin Lamble and Richard Thompson's girlfriend, Jeannie Frankly. Denny's song, 'Nothing More', which opens this collection, relates to Thompson's open struggle to come to terms with the tragedy.

Sept 2019. Fotheringhay is a very attractive and well kept village with an architecturaly interesting church and a good pub. The castle, now just a mound, is where Mary Queen of Scots was beheaded. There is a fine view from the top of the mound over the surrounding countryside. Read more.
