Fotheringay is the self-titled album by the group formed by Sandy Denny after she left Fairport Convention in 1969, and was the group's only contemporaneous release. It was recorded in 1970 with former Eclection member and Denny's future husband Trevor Lucas , with Gerry Conway , Jerry Donahue , and Pat Donaldson .

22 de may. de 2015 · What’s more, Fotheringay lasted for one solitary album before three of its members – acoustic guitarist/singer Trevor Lucas, drummer Gerry Conway and electric guitar player Jerry Donahue – took the opposite direction and joined Fairport in 1972. Denny, meanwhile, had already left for a solo career. Never mind the short lifespan though.
