Forenzics is a New Zealand musical project formed by Tim Finn and Eddie Rayner in 2020. It's a project that includes 'shades & echoes' of early Split Enz repertoire. The songs are combinations of new and re-imagined lyrics and music.
Eddie Rayner, Noel Crombie, Phil Manzanera and Tim Finn, henceforth known as Forenzics, created this new track Walking by writing a new song over an old bit.
Forenzics are playing an all ages afternoon show at The Record Crate in Glebe, Saturday 4th June 2016, with awesome support from electro-psych-shoegazers Fabels and improv-experimental-noisemakers Codakrohm.. Doors open at 2pm. It’s sure to be a great afternoon of live improvisation, experimentation, psychedelia, soundscape, beauty, noise and dissonance.

Free-improv with trumpet, bass, guitar, drums. Cinematic, hypnotic and unpredictable landscapes of sound. Formed in 2005, Forenzics have a very simple philosophy: play what you feel without limits and boundaries, only that it must be created there and then. There are no restrictions on genre, texture, format or structure.
The Forenzics repertoire, like paintings in an exhibition, is an album of individual works that together form an immersive and cohesive whole. It is a genuine sabbatical journey into the artistic unknown, mapped out by two artists at the height of their creative powers.
