6 de may. de 2024 · Blue Ridge Mountains is one of Fleet Foxes’ most beautiful and poetic songs. The song is about escaping to the Blue Ridge Mountains and a simpler life. The band’s use of harmony and acoustic instruments is prominent in the song, creating a feeling of warmth and comfort.
At one particular show I had my back to the stage and I remember thinking, “these guys sound great!” They were unsigned and only the major local hipsters knew about them. They sounded sort of like The Beach Boys at the time. More indie rock than folk. The lead singer was like 20. Needless to say it was Fleet Foxes.
