Some of you will recognize Steve Jansen as being the drummer in a lot of Yukihiro's live shows as well as being the drummer in the influential English band Japan. Steve released a track this year called Impossible Until It Happens in honor of the one year passing of Yukihiro.

Funny thing is I always say and maintain that I really don't like jazz at all and yet I love this as well as other similar sounding projects such as Exit North (which, like this, also includes Steve Jansen).

In dessen Band Japan saß er von der Gründung 1974 bis zur Auflösung 1982 am Schlagzeug. Im Herbst 2007 erschien sein erstes Soloalbum "Slope".
