In June 2002, he completed the tour with a performance in front of 70,000 people at the Glastonbury Festival of Performing Arts, playing 15 Pink Floyd songs and five songs from his solo catalogue.

In 1990, the year after the Berlin Wall fell, Waters staged a charity concert in Berlin that featured many guest superstars.
