- About Us
Fitzwilliam College is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge. The college traces its origins back to 1869 and the foundation of the Non-Collegiate Students Board, a venture intended to offer academically excellent students of all backgrounds a chance to study at the university.
It’s the perfect place to express yourself and be who you want to be. Robert. Fitzwilliam College combines the best of Cambridge tradition with a friendly, forward-thinking approach, perfectly summed up by our motto: ‘the best of old and new’.
I was recently at the Fitzwilliam College, located in the north-west region of Cambridge. The college is a fairly new one, with relation to other Cambridge colleges, and hence is more modern than traditional. Not the most, architecturally pleasing of all colleges in Cambridge.
