Hace 6 días · George Harrison (born February 25, 1943, Liverpool, England—died November 29, 2001, Los Angeles, California, U.S.) British musician, singer, and songwriter, who gained fame as the lead guitarist of the Beatles, one of the most important and influential bands in the history of rock music.
For the first four years of his life, Harrison lived at 12 Arnold Grove, a terraced house on a cul-de-sac. The home had an outdoor toilet and its only heat came from a single coal fire. In 1949, the family was offered a council house and moved to 25 Upton Green, Speke.

Harrison was born on 25 February 1943 in the family home at 12 Arnold Grove, Wavertree, Liverpool. His parents were Harold and Louise Harrison, who had roots in Ireland. They had three other children: Louise, Harry and Peter, all of whom were older than George.

Harrison’s self-discovery was made comically ironic by the fact that Shankar had asked his famous student to conceal his identity.
