18 de mar. de 2008 · Fans of Glenn Hughes will already know that Glenn's solo albums have gone from strength to strength. The new album by Mr. Hughes, First Underground Nuclear Kitchen (or F.U.N.K.), featuring the Red Hot Chili Peppers' Chad Smith and John Frusciante is no exception. Fans of Glenn will be well-pleased with this album.
Glenn Hughes is at a stage in his career, and his life that he has finally decided to make the music HE wants to. In my opinion F.U.N.K. is all the better for it. It can be no surprise that after Soul Mover and Music For The Divine that Glenn has moved further in to this area of music.

F.U.N.K. finds Hughes reaching into his satchel of rock and pulling out not only the expected hard funk and soul, but also some pathos and horns.
