The Definitive Rock Collection is a two-disc retrospective of the British rock group Faces released in 2007, collecting thirty tracks from among the group's four studio albums, various single A and B-sides (including two 'solo' Rod Stewart tracks which were actually Faces performances), and an outtake from the sessions for a proposed but ultimately abandoned 1975 album.
Formed from the remnants of the Small Faces, the now-dubbed Faces had Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood in tow. 3 de mar. de 2017 · That said, I have a confession to make. I’ve never, and I mean never, listened to their 1970 debut LP, First Step. I don’t know why this is so. I suspect that, somewhere in the back of my lizard brain, I believed they weren’t ripe yet. I didn’t think they were fully Faces. So yesterday, in a paroxysm of guilt, I turned First Step on.
