Tropical Fuck Storm are an Australian rock band and supergroup from Melbourne, Victoria, formed by Gareth Liddiard and Fiona Kitschin from The Drones. Lauren Hammel, from the band High Tension, plays drums, and Erica Dunn, from the bands Mod Con, Harmony, and Palm Springs, plays guitars, keyboards, and other instruments.

Tropical Fuck Storm bassist and founding member Fiona Kitschin has been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer, the band has revealed in a statement. The necessary treatment means TFS has been forced to cancel their US tour, which was slated to begin later this month.
24 de ago. de 2023 · Fiona Kitschin, bassist of TFS as well as The Drones, was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer a few months ago. This has obviously put a hold on all activity from the band as she undergoes treatment. Since the news came out, fans have wanted to know how they can support Kitschin and her partner Gareth Liddiard. The answer to that is now here.

5 de ene. de 2023 · Tropical Fuck Storm have shared the sad news that founding bassist and vocalist Fiona Kitschin has been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. The band posted to social media this morning to update fans and give an explanation as to why they would be cancelling any shows planned outside of Australia for 2023.
