Fahd bin Salman Al Saud (Arabic: فهد بن سلمان آل سعود, romanized: Fahd bin Salman Āl Su‘ūd; 1955 – 25 July 2001) was a Saudi royal, businessman, and thoroughbred racer.
Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (Arabic: فهد بن عبد العزيز آل سعود, romanized: Fahd bin ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz Āl Suʿūd; 1920, 1921 or 1923 – 1 August 2005) was King and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia from 13 June 1982 until his death in 2005.
House of Saud is a translation of Al Saud, an Arabic dynastic name formed by adding the word Al (meaning "family of" or "House of") to the personal name of an ancestor. In the case of the Al Saud, the ancestor is Saud ibn Muhammad ibn Muqrin, the father of the dynasty's 18th century founder Muhammad bin Saud (Muhammad, son of Saud).
