Fabien Pelous (born 7 December 1973) is a retired French rugby union player. A lock who also occasionally played as a number eight and flanker, he played the bulk of his professional career for Stade Toulousain, and is the all-time leader in appearances for the France national team.
Fabien Pelous, né le 7 décembre 1973 à Toulouse, est un joueur international français de rugby à XV, évoluant au poste de deuxième ligne . Formé à l' UA Saverdun en Ariège, il joue au Stade toulousain de 1997 à 2009, après des débuts avec le SC Graulhet et deux saisons à l' US Dax .

Fabien Pelous is a former French lock that was one of the greats of the game. A stalwart for both Toulouse and France, he was rightfully inducted into the World Rugby Hall of Fame in 2017, and the RugbyPass Hall of Fame in 2021. At the amateur level, Fabien Pelous represented both Saverdun and SC Graulhet before he signed for Dax in 1995.
