7 de abr. de 2023 · The band were actually a group of musicians assembled by Rohl to help him realise his musical vision, and included several well-known names from the panoply of mid-70s rock artists. Not surprisingly given the Strawberry Studios connection this album relied heavily on the talents of both 10cc and Barclay James Harvest.
Conceived and recorded at Strawberry Studios in Stockport between 1976 and 1977 by producer David Rohl, the album features musical and vocal appearances by Barclay James Harvest, 10cc, Justin Hayward (The Moody Blues), Maddy Prior (Steeleye Span), Noel Redding (Jimi Hendrix Experience), Sad Caf and the Hall Orchestra.

Een project eigenlijk van Davy Rohl, en leden van The Moody Blues, 10 CC, Barclay James Harvest en Maddy Prior geven acte de presence. het is een concept album, en de muziek zit behoorlijk in de symfo hoek. Mooie produktie ook.

29 de ago. de 2012 · One of the best concept albums ever made. If you like 10cc, Barclay James Harvest, Maddi Prior or progressive rock, you will love this album. It's wonderfully produced and I had always been sad about the fact that there was no follow-up, as the lyrics sheet promised (to be continued).
