This one stands up very well, in my opinion. BJH's and 10cc's engineer, Dave Rohl (now a noted Egyptologist), was the brainchild behind this album, which utilized the talents of members of both those bands, as well as special guests Maddy Prior (Steeleye Span), Justin Hayward and Paul Young of Sad Cafe.

The main characters in the tale of Wendor are played by individual vocalists: Justin Hayward (Moody Blues) sings the part of King Aenord, ruler of Carthilias, Maddy Prior (Steeleye Span) plays his daughter, Princess Ursula, and Eric Stewart (10cc) is Florian, the young hero whom the prophecies tell will retrieve the Eye of Wendor from the evil Witch Queen, Silesandre.
