  5. 8 de mar. de 2016 · Expresso II is an album by Pierre Moerlen's Gong, issued in 1978. Like the other Pierre Moerlen's Gong albums, the album is predominantly jazz-fusion and has little to do with the psychedelic space rock of Daevid Allen 's Gong, even though the bands share a common history.

  6. Anyway, this is a fusion/jazz album with it's main focus on rhythms and xylophones. There is no keyboards here at all. But Darryl Way does an excellent job on violin and the same does Mr Holdsworth on guitar. Mick Taylor also does a great job on solo guitars.

  7. It's the eclectic lineup with layers of tuned percussion, Darryl Way on violin and Allan Holdsworth (plus a guest spot from Mick Taylor!) that all combine to make this a better than average fusion platter, lending lots of character and color to these otherwise undistinguished tunes.
