  1. Recorded mostly on Turner's north Mississippi farm, the album was produced by Luther Dickinson. R.L. Boyce, Turner's nephew, contributed to the album. The sessions took place between 1992 and 1997. It was Dickinson's intention to simply make a document of Turner's music for Turner and his family.

  2. Dickinson produced two records on Otha Turner, Everybody Hollerin' Goat and From Senegal To Senatobia. [1] In November 2007 Dickinson joined The Black Crowes. His recording debut with the band was on Warpaint in 2008, [2] and he has since appeared on the 2009 Black Crowes release Before the Frost...Until the Freeze. [3] .

  3. 6 de oct. de 2022 · Luther produced Everybody HollerinGoat, the 1998 album Turner recorded with his Rising Star Fife & Drum Band, and would drive him to performances. By then, Dickinson had formed the Allstars with his brother, Cody, and bassist Chris Chew.

  4. 29 de ene. de 2018 · With his contemporaries either deceased or infirmed, Turner was the final surviving link to fife and drum's roots by the '90s; in 1998, his music was finally preserved on the album Everybody Hollerin' Goat, recorded between 1992 and 1997 by producer Luther Dickinson. A follow-up, Senegal to Senatobia, appeared in 2000.
