While I can’t remember exactly when I first saw Erika Ranee’s work, I’d come across it over the years, and it always appealed to me.

She is the recipient of a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in Painting in 1996 and 2021, an AIM Fellowship from the Bronx Museum, and was granted residence at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture.
