Ennenda se encuentra situada frente a la ciudad de Glaris, en la orilla derecha del río Linth. La antigua comuna limitaba al norte con las comunas de Mollis y Filzbach, al este con Obstalden y Sool, al sur con Mitlödi, y al oeste con Glaris y Netstal . Puente ferroviario sobre el Linth.
Ennenda is located on the right side of the Linth river, across from Glarus at the foot of the Schilt mountain. It consists of the village of Ennenda and the hamlets of Sturmigen, Ennetbühls and the mountain settlement of Ennetberge.
