Si bien algunos actores abandonan un programa debido a una disputa contractual u otro drama detrás de escena, no hubo nada de eso involucrado en la partida de Koteas.

És més conegut per actuar en papers secundaris o principals en pel·lícules dels Estats Units i el Canadà.
