El Grinch es un personaje de ficción creado por el Dr. Seuss. Su primera aparición fue en el libro infantil ¡Cómo El Grinch robó la Navidad! de 1957. En 1966 reapareció en un especial de televisión con el mismo nombre basado en el libro, producido por MGM Animation/Visual Arts Studio y dirigido por Chuck Jones.
