Edgard Varèse Compositor francés Nació el 22 de diciembre de 1883 en París. Cursó estudios de ingeniería, aunque decidió dedicarse a la música contra la voluntad de su padre. Entró en la Schola Cantorum de París, y en 1905 en el Conservatorio de París. En 1907 se radica en Berlín y después en la ciudad de Nueva York.
Biography. More. (December 22, 1883 - November 6, 1965) Edgard Varèse was born in Paris of an Italian father and French mother. Between the ages of ten and twenty he lived in Turin, where he began his musical studies. In 1903, however, he quarelled with his father and left for Paris, where he completed his studies with d’Indy, Roussel and Widor.
