The Early Years covers my favourite phase of Roxy Music’s career – the Eno years and immediately after his departure, when they were still trying to impress with their musical adventurousness, instead of becoming some sort of audio equivalent of a lifestyle magazine.

"Early years" includes titles from the 3 albums (Roxy Music, For your pleasure and Stranded) plus the 2 singles (Virginia and Pyjama). The collection is good and reflects well the brilliant music of the band in the years 1972-74.
