Hopkins was invited in 1965 by producer Shel Talmy to record with the Kinks. He played on four of the group's studio albums: The Kink Kontroversy (1965), Face to Face (1966), Something Else by The Kinks (1967) and The Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society (1968).
Early On (1964–1966) is a compilation album by David Bowie, released in 1991. It is notable as the first and only attempt to compile a comprehensive collection of all of Bowie's pre- Deram material and encompasses multiple labels including Vocalion, Parlophone , and Pye .
