1 de may. de 2024 · ELO keyboard man and the owner of the voice that did that thing at the end of Mr Blue Sky that nobody could understand. Very sad news. He joins Kelly Groucutt, Louis Clark, Hugh McDowell, Wilfred Gibson, Rick Price, Mike Edwards and Steve Woolam playing their ELO reunion gig in the sky. RIP 😥.
Besides, Kelly's October '83 settlement concluded with him being dismissed as someone who was only ever technically a hired hand, while Bev sold his 50% ownership over ELO back to Jeff in 1999, which led to ELO Part II being legally forced to rebrand and Zoom being possible to issue as a group album as opposed to a solo project that would have presumably sold less due to lower name awareness.
9 de may. de 2024 · In the 1990s Bev Bevan led ELO Part II; Tandy, meanwhile, played on Lynne’s solo debut album Armchair Theatre (1990), alongside the likes of George Harrison and Del Shannon.
2 de may. de 2024 · Kui Bevan üritas 1988. aastal ELO uuesti kokku tuua, keeldusid Tandy ja Lynne sellega liitumast. Bevan moodustaks ansambli ELO Part II, hiljem tuntud kui The Orchestra. Kui Lynne muutis bändi 2014. aastal Jeff Lynne’i ELOks, liitus Tandy Lynnega.
