Profile: David "Dzal" Martin is a British guitarist, songwriter and session musician born in Broxbourne in Hertfordshire. He turned professional when he was 21 and then formed his own band No Dice when he was 24. In 1983, he was one of the core guitarists on the "Box Of Frogs" project.

Lincoln Gordon left the band shortly after its reformation and in the same year David (Dzal) Martin – who had been a member between 1973 and 1975 rejoined permanently as lead guitarist. In the early ’90s, The Equals released their album “ROOTS” released in 1995, mainly written by Pat Lloyd with contributions from David (Dzal) Martin.
