The story is narrated by a young woman preyed upon by a female vampire named Carmilla, later revealed to be Mircalla, Countess Karnstein (Carmilla is an anagram of Mircalla).

The shame about Dracula 2000 is that the idea of Dracula being Judas Iscariot is a fucking excellent idea I always wondered if they stole that from Vampire : The Masquerade where the original vampire was Cain, cursed by god after killing Abel.
