Doye O'Dell. American singer, musician and actor. Born November 22, 1912 in Gustine, Texas, USA. Died January 3, 2001 (age of 88) in Northridge, California, USA. Married to actress Joan Barton in 1955 (divorced). O'Dell's dad was a cotton farmer and later moved the family to the far west Texas town of Plainview.
