Downliners Sect är ett brittiskt R&B-band bildat i stadsdelen Twickenham i London 1963. Gruppen skivdebuterade 1964 och fick samma år sin största hit med "Little Egypt". Gruppen bestod då av Don Craine (sång och gitarr), Keith Grant (sång och basgitarr), John Sutton (trummor), Ray Sone (munspel) och Terry Gibson (gitarr).

Contemporaries of the Rolling Stones and Yardbirds, the Downliners Sect was formed by deerstalker-hatted rhythm guitarist Don Craine in the spring of 1963. Their brash and exciting brand of R&B soon gained them a residency at London’s Studio 51 club where they recorded their first E.P.
