Hace 3 días · I’m not one to put on Red House Painters’ Down Colorful Hill anymore; it’s too drab and morose, like a reminder of a time when wallowing in self-pity could be a confused form of comfort. It’s impressive, then, to hear an album that recalls Mark Kozelek’s early years without being tediously depressive.
