  5. Reading Assembly. This wellbeing ambassador is an inspiration to all of our Dovedale children. She helped to lead an assembly on reading, using her own reading journey as an example for others to follow. She read out her prepared script, in front of 240 children, explaining how she managed to overcome the barrier of dyslexia to enjoying reading.

We are very excited to introduce our new phonics scheme, Read Write Inc. Read Write Inc. is a highly successful programme dedicated to ensuring that every child is able to read by the end of Key Stage 1.
