Douglas Clark Francis Kenney (December 10, 1946 – August 27, 1980) was an American comedy writer of magazine, novels, radio, TV and film, who co-founded the magazine National Lampoon in 1970. Kenney edited the magazine and wrote much of its early material.

Douglas Kenney was a writer, actor and producer of comedy and satire. He co-founded the National Lampoon magazine and the National Lampoon Radio Hour, and wrote and/or produced many popular films and TV shows, such as Animal House, Caddyshack and Delta House. He died in a fall from a cliff in 1980.
