Doug Tracht is an American radio, television, and movie personality. He is nicknamed "The Greaseman". Personal. Tracht was born and grew up in the South Bronx with his younger sister, Diana, and parents, Alfred and Gertrude Tracht.
A Greaseman Biography. "The Greaseman" was born Doug Tracht in Bronx, New York, on August 1st, 1950. He attended DeWitt Clinton High School in the Bronx, and went to Ithaca College in New York from 1968-1972, majoring in Broadcasting.
