14 de sept. de 2021 · Doug (AKA dUg) Pinnick, the bassist and vocalist of hard rock lifers King’s X has announced a new solo record, Joy Bomb, due October 15. The album is Pinnick’s fifth solo album and his first since 2013’s Naked. “Joy Bomb is a collection of tunes I've been writing for the last two years,” says Pinnick.
Doug Pinnick is known first and foremost as the soulful singer and bassist for hard rockers King's X. Born September 3, 1950, in Joliet, IL, Pinnick discovered rock & roll through such greats as Sly and the Family Stone, Jimi Hendrix, and Led Zeppelin, while he borrowed from gospel for his singing style.
