Donovan Ryan Cook III (born January 30, 1968) is an American filmmaker, animator, cartoonist, director and producer, best known for creating, directing and producing the animated series 2 Stupid Dogs and directing the Disney animated features Return to Never Land and Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers.
Donovan Cook is the author of the well-received Ormstunga Saga series and the Charlemagne's Cross series, both of which combine fast-paced narrative with meticulously researched history of the Viking world and are inspired by his interest in Norse Mythology.

Donovan Cook se graduó en el Instituto de las Artes de California en 1990 y trabajó en varias películas animadas de Disney, como La Sirenita y la adaptación de Mickey Mouse de El príncipe y el mendigo.
